Nareg Gourjian

Nareg Gourjian practices with Gourjian Law Group, located in Glendale, California.

Education:

Mr. Gourjian received his B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where he graduated with honors in Sociology. He earned his J.D. from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles in 2002. While at Loyola Law, Mr. Gourjian served as an Editor on the Board of the Entertainment Law Review. He was admitted to the State Bar of California on 12/4/2002.  He is also a member of the Armenian Bar Association.

Notable Cases:

2005:  Former associate of Mark Geragos, with whom he worked on Michael Jackson’s defense team prior to the Geragos group being replaced by Thomas Mesereau.  Judge Michael Pastor met in chambers with Mark Geragos in March of 2011 regarding a potential conflict of interest, given that Gourjian was privy to extensive information regarding Michael Jackson by virtue of his association with the case in 2005.  Pastor ruled that there was “no real or potential conflict of interest” that would prevent Gourjian from representing Conrad Murray.
