Alberto Alvarez, Michael Jackson's logistics director, came forward last week with allegations that Conrad Murray was more interested in saving Conrad Murray than he was in saving Michael Jackson. The Associated Press reported that Alvarez arrived for work at around 10:20 a.m. and was waiting for his daily instructions when he received a call from Michael Amir Williams. Who Is Conrad Murray

Conrad Robert Murray was born on February 19, 1953, in St. Andrews, Grenada. As a young child, his mother, Milta, was often in search of work in Trinidad and Tobago, so he was raised by his maternal grandparents. At 7 years of age he rejoined his mother and became a citizen of Trinidad and Tobago, where he graduated high school. Murray worked as a customs clerk and insurance underwriter in order to pay for college. His father was conspicuously absent from his life; they did not meet until 1978 when Murray traveled to Houston and introduced himself.

Death By Degrees

There's a lot of controversy surrounding the reported decision to charge Murray with involuntary manslaughter as opposed to murder. Here are the legal definitions for each charge: 1st Degree Murder In order for someone to be found guilty of first degree murder the government must prove that the person killed another person; the person killed the other person with malice aforethought; and the killing was premeditated. To kill with malice aforethought means to kill either deliberately and intentionally or recklessly with extreme disregard for human life.
